If a student has strong academic talents, is keen to study in a supportive small college and would enjoy making friends from across the world, Padworth College may be able to offer financial support. Scholarships can reduce the cost of fees by as much as 40% and means-tested Bursaries may be available to top up the shortfall for promising students who would otherwise be unable to afford the fees.
All awards are made for the duration of the student’s studies at Padworth and are subject to continued good behaviour and commitment to study.
Academic and Art Scholarships – 14+(GCSE), 16+(Sixth Form)
Sixth Form Day Student Academic Scholarship
The College awards a number of Academic and Art Scholarships at 14+ (for GCSE study) and 16+ (for A level study) and one Sixth form Day Student Scholarship to such students who show outstanding ability and potential. These Scholarships are worth between 10% and 40% of the full college fees (tuition and accommodation in the case of a boarder).
Bursaries
Bursaries are awarded to outstanding students whose families are not in a position to pay the fees for their child to attend Padworth College. Bursaries are also available for the families of former students and for those students who would not necessarily be of scholarship ability but who would benefit from Padworth’s special ethos, where their potential can be realised. All Bursaries are means-tested.
