We are an independent co-educational day and boarding school for students aged 13 to 18 (Year 9 to 13) that was founded in 1963 by Oxford University tutor, Peter Fison, whose vision was to bring Oxford’s educational philosophy of tutorial teaching to school-level education.

Individuality is celebrated through our highly differentiated learning approach, small informal classes and a personal, first name basis. Our approach to learning is enquiry-based and interactive. Our student body, representing approximately 30 different nationalities, celebrates cultural diversity. Our boarding, with its strong focus on pastoral care and student welfare, ensures there is a balance of academic study alongside recreational and social activities. We are located close to London and Heathrow International Airport, in an historic country estate in the middle of a picturesque and safe environment.

Padworth College (a co-educational boarding and day school for students aged 13-18) has the following vacancies:

Maintenance Operatives

1 Full-Time position 37.5 hours a week, 52 weeks per year – £23,000 – £26,000

1 Part-Time position, 15-25 hours a week, 52 weeks per year – £pro rata as above

Hours are negotiable for the right candidate

Due to the restructuring of the Estates Department, we are currently seeking hardworking, skilled, dependable and self motivated individuals to support the smooth running of the College Estate.

We are seeking team players who may have worked in the property or construction industry, with hands on practical experience possibly looking for a full or part-time role.  Alternatively someone looking to build their knowledge and skills base prior to choosing an area to specialise in.  The post holder is required to hold a clean driving licence, as driving the College minibus is desirable.

A sense of humour, flexible attitude and willingness to get involved in all aspects of College life is essential, including during some evenings and weekends.
