Boarding life

International student

The majority of students at Padworth are boarders and all are given a warm welcome and helped to integrate into boarding life by the caring and committed team of resident House Staff.  Boarders enjoy comfortable accommodation, readily available educational, social and sporting facilities and the chance to enjoy all the opportunities of British boarding school life to the full.  Students come from all over the world creating a rich and culturally diverse student community in which friendships are forged that broaden horizons and last a lifetime.

Accommodation

Students are accommodated in comfortable single or shared bedrooms. Girls and boys are housed in separate buildings, each with their own resident House Staff who are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There are kitchen facilities in all the boarding houses for the students to provide their own drinks and snacks and cosy sitting rooms with televisions where students can relax and socialise. Students are expected to do their own personal laundry using the machines provided (apart from Summer Study). Bed linen is provided and is laundered weekly by the House Staff. All meals are taken in the College Dining Rooms where there is a good variety of healthy and interesting food on offer to cater for the tastes of young people coming from so many parts of the world and all dietary preferences can be accommodated.
