Boarding life

The majority of students at Padworth are boarders and all are given a warm welcome and helped to integrate into boarding life by the caring and committed team of resident House Staff. Boarders enjoy comfortable accommodation, readily available educational, social and sporting facilities and the chance to enjoy all the opportunities of British boarding school life to the full. Students come from all over the world creating a rich and culturally diverse student community in which friendships are forged that broaden horizons and last a lifetime.
Accommodation
Students are accommodated in comfortable single or shared bedrooms within separate Girls’ and Boys’ Boarding Houses, each with their own resident House Staff who are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during termtime. There are kitchen facilities in the boarding houses for the students to make their own drinks and snacks and sitting rooms with televisions where students can relax and socialise.
Students are expected to do their own personal laundry using the machines provided (apart from Summer Study). Bed linen is provided and is laundered weekly by the House Staff. All meals are taken in the College Dining Rooms where there is a good variety of healthy and interesting food on offer to cater for the tastes of young people coming from so many parts of the world and all dietary preferences can be accommodated.

The thing I liked most about Padworth was its friendly environment. All the staff and friends were so nice and warm which made me feel at home, even when I first arrived. My two years at padworth were one of the most wonderful times for me – I met a lot of great people and I will never forget them. Quynh Anh, Former Padworth student
