Scholarships

Students at Padworth College

Padworth College operates a scholarship programme which aims to assist students of exceptional ability to study at the college. The College awards a number of academic scholarships every year for study both at A Level and at GCSE Level.

Major Academic scholarships are offered to outstanding students which are worth 50% of the full college fees (tuition and accommodation in the case of a boarder). In addition, a limited number of Minor Academic Scholarships are awarded which are worth 25% of the full college fees. Art scholarships are also offered to outstanding candidates of any age. 

Padworth Scholarship holders have regularly won places on competitive courses at Oxford, Cambridge and other leading British universities.

Padworth welcomes scholarship applications. In order to make an application, a candidate must submit the following to the Principal of Padworth College:

Statement of predicted GCSE/IGCS/ results certified by the school and an indication of any examinations already taken

Copy of the candidate’s most recent school report

Confidential Academic reference from the candidate’s current Head teacher or a delegated senior academic referee.

Personal statement from the candidate verified with the signature of the candidate's current Head teacher.

The Principal will assess each application and make an offer to successful candidates.  Her decision is final.
